Title: what is a Win32:Netsky-Y [Wrm] ?

none of the other aV vendors has any infor about this worm, only Win32.Netsky.X  (http://www3.ca.com/threatinfo/virusinfo/virus.aspx?id=38940) which is not included in the latest update of avast at http://www.avast.com/i_idt_1404.html t ::)

That's one and the same thing.

Not only avast detects it with today's update, but the today's avast! Virus Cleaner can repair systems infected with this worm...

There is again the big name's confusion  :( . Although there is no X variant, one large AV company announced this one as Y. Many of ohers followed them (Sophos for example, but many others as well) while others named it X. I think we will rename it to X in the near future....

FYI: F-secure calls it X
