Title: Wireless Network Error
Post by: thec0wboy on November 17, 2008, 05:14:47 PM
Hello everyone,

I tried posting this in the general information section on Friday, but nobody responded.  I'm a bit dissapointed that nobody replied over the weekend, and am considering removing Avast from my computers at the office all together.

On friday I decided to upgrade our virus removal program from Norton to Avast Pro.  I've done this on 3 computers here.  Since installing it, none of our laptops can connect to the wireless network we have setup at work.  I've tried to disable Avast, but I still can't seem to connect.  Does anyone know what might be causing this, and how I can work around it??

I have Windows XP installed on the laptops, and we do have a basic D-Link wireless router setup at work.

Please let me know if you require any other detailed info.

Thanks you,

Avast Newbie!

thec0wboy, please stick to one topic as it will get confusing trying to help you.

By the way, people in Europe usually take weekends off due to government regulations so have patience.

I only posted in 2 places because I thought my previous post was in the wrong section of the forum.
