A friend who uses Avast was installing musicmatch 8.2 basic from the musicmatch website, from
http://mmdl.vo.llnw.net/llnw_cdn/01068ABAASAAAAAYDQwgesxStRqUChyZLWwH1u7mnzL9EyA734tGKgLlPrAjSdGyh05cXkqwcIlwtzTBCbNgHyH16U0paEp1mVbi8GJTijA--/builds/MMD/PC_DLM/DNL/DLM_2100004_ENU.exe
After d/l and running of the exe, avast reports the presence of trojan gen in one of the files.
Would it be possible to confirm this is a false positive?
cheers

Downloaded, installed but no virus has been found; you may pack the infected (?) file and send it to: virus@asw.cz with an appropriate subject. Thanks.

OK, I am at the computer and it still says there is a virus, even though AVAST reports the file is ok on mine and yours. Have completed a boot scan (win2k) on the PC. Each time the install is run it created a new file, 3 of these have been sent to you via email with the comment "RE:musicmatch 8.2 possible false positive".
