I have a DS207 Network area storage at home. Mainly to backup files from my laptop and to act as a bank for my tons of photos.
It is connect to my laptop via a route and the folders in my NAS is mapped as "shared folders" in a network.
I would like to know if Avast Home can scan the files in my NAS ? It seems that while I can activate the Avast Home, point it to the selected directory and gets a pop up screen saying scanning + 0% (or something like this). Nothing seems to have happened.
Question: Can Avast Home scan files on a shared folder on a home network ? Is there any settings that I should be aware of.
Thanks for any help.

avast! doesn't really care whether the selected path is on a local disk (e.g. c:\windows) or a network path, either mapped to a drive letter or "pure" (\\computer\share\path) - so it should work in any case.
