Please join me in making a small donation for a worthy cause.
Thanks and God Bless. :)

Hi ardvark,
Thanks for the reply and consideration.
I set this up to make every one think about others during this holiday season.
If you happen to donate to the charity I picked, that would make them and me happy.
Picking your own favorite still accomplishes the same thing:
You will have thought about some one else.

Thanks. :)

Thanks you, Bob, for making it easier and safer to help those in need.  When I hear about donated money being stolen from those donation sites near shop entrances, I hesitate to give as much as I would like.  Like most people, I want my donation to go to those for whom it is intended.  I wouldn't have thought of donating online if I hadn't seen this post.  Your site will enable me to give as much as my budget will allow, all at once, without worrying about whether it might be unexpectedly "misdirected."

Nice touch Bob, and a kind thing to take the time to do.

Personally, I send the Salvation Army a check every year, and I empty my pockets of change (and a few bills once in a while), every time we're out and about, so I won't participate here, but I hope many others will...

 :)

I'm hoping it will attract more donations.  That will make more lives a little brighter.  It's a very user-friendly website, too--much easier than digging for change when my hands are full of packages.   ;D

May the warmth of the season bring back some memories
of the Good Old Days when families gathered by the Fire Place
and listened to some relaxing and peaceful Christmas Music (http://home.comcast.net/%7EMySharedFiles/Yule_Log.wmv)

High Speed Internet Access Recommended. Use IE, SRWare Iron, Google Chrome or Opera, for best results.

Hi Mikey,
If you use the browsers I listed, then you can listen to streaming music without having to download the entire wmf file
to obtain any music.
If you'd like the music on your system, then by all means, simply right click on the link and select "Save As".
Either way, enjoy and have a Merry Christmas every one.  :)

Kyle,
I could use a bottle of that to help warm us up during these cold winter nights.  :)
It's also a primary ingredient in Blackberry Wine Cake (http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/29/Blackberry-Wine-Cake91963.shtml).

Had Jesus been born in Australia
as the Heavenly host 'round him swirled
Herald angels maybe-
'd shout not "Hark", but "Crikey!"
"Kid born here in shed to save world!"

Happy Christmas and season's greetings to all.

Hi to FwF,

Yes winter solstice, this is the time of the Wild Hunt, starting originally from Dec 13th onwards, later under influence of the celebration of the Roman Solis Invicibilis we transgressed to Dec 25th, that is why we also celebrate Christmas at this time of the year. The leader of the pack of Lost Souls was Holda, Frau Holle or Vrouw Holle in Dutch, the wife of Wodan, also known by her name Hell, her icon bird being the Magpie (half living half dead - black and white), and while the wind howled round the chimney people feared these Riders in the Sky of Germanic lore, and their offerings to them are now represented as parcels in the Christmas stockings at the chimney place, a tribute to your ancestors that started from these coasts,
