Title: protected or hidden files

ever time i scan when it finishes avast says that it could not scan in the neighborhood of 1,500 files is there a way to scan them or do i just leave them alone

Files that can't be scanned are just that, not an indication they are suspicious/infected, just unable to be scanned.
