Hello,

I set in the INI file the following setting

UpdatePeriod=5  

Do i have to set the way of update to Manual then or automatic ?

I want to check the the updates

Please, don't do it!
This is a feature that if the users abuse of it, it will be take off  :'(
The period is in minutes. The minimmum to not create and abuse is 360 minutes.

Please, don't make them take out this feature. See more configurations for avast4.ini file here: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=1647

You can set the manual/automatic updates upon the Settings > Update (Basic) tab.  ;)

Hi,

I will set the setting of.
It was not my intention to always use that, i kust wanted to test is the update works.
