Title: Avast On-access scanner password
Post by: ljstein on April 24, 2004, 11:22:28 PM
Whenever I click on the Avast On-access scanner in my taskbar, it asks me for a password.  I don't know what it is.  How can I reset that password?

I had the same problem aswell but not long ago i tried right click on the avast icon, in the task bar and choose: Set/Change Password.  Then type in your old password when prompts and leave New Password and Confirm New Password blank.  Then you don't need to type password again.  ;D

Maybe the user can send an IM to anybody from Alwil (probably Vlk) and ask for help on changing the password... Sometimes in the past I heard that is the only way you'll receive help (for security reasons I suppose).
