Hi
I use Avast several years now. Avast let me know that I have a virus/worm. I wanted to move this file to the chest, but avast wasn't able to do this. So I wanted to delete the file, but this also didn't work. What do I need to do?
This is the file:
C:\SYSTEM VOLUME INFORMATION\_RESTORE{BCEB5067-9513-422F-B5D6-18FF2F2AECC5}\RP540\A0063523.DLL
I frequently use SUPERantispyware and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.

What was the reason given (file in use, etc.) for not being ale to send to the chest ?
If you have XP, vista32bit or Win2k, you could enable a boot time scan. Right click the avast icon, select Start avast! Antivirus, a memory scan will take place followed by the opening of the Simple User Interface, Menu, 'Schedule boot-time scan...' Or see http://www.digitalred.com/avast-boot-time.php (http://www.digitalred.com/avast-boot-time.php).
