Dear Forum Users,
Can anybody please tell me how to remove these annoying page markers from a MS Word XP document?
- I am in print layout view
- At the text border of each page there are four faint 'markers'
- Marking the four corners where you can write text (hence the text barrier or border)
- They are faint grey
- Look like this:
____| |_____

I didn't set them myself and they are really pissing me off.
I have looked in the help function for Word, looked online at Micro$oft's (useless) help website and tried mucking around with all the menus and toolbars but to no avail.
Thanks in advance!!!

Found the answer and thought I'd post it for anybody else afflicted by this problem.
You simply hold down control and then start Micro$oft Word in safe mode. That fixes the problem.
Why does Micro$oft make such rubbish products which always randomly decide to change their setting?
Anyway, I'm not going to rant about Micro$oft. Many people agree their products are sub-standard.
