Hi all, i'm a new user of avast with a first question.
I've installed avast (english version) with mail protection on my father's PC (XP PRO + OUTLOOK EXPRESS).
On this computer , a message received with an attached file infected comes in outlook express with the attached file deleted and a notification from avast in the object.
As i found this was a good protection, i changed my actual AV for AVAST on my personnal computer (W98SE + OUTLOOK EXPRESS), but i installed the new french version available on avast.com.
On this computer and in the same case, the message is received in Outlook express with the notification , but the file is not deleted !
With the notification, i was able to put the message in the deleted directory, but i prefer the first version (file deleted by avast).
Can someone help me to understand the problem :
1. Due to XP / W98 ?
2. Due to english vesion / french version ?
3. Due to a parameter to set i did'nt find on the avast installed on my computer ?
