can someone plz tell me if i need to uninstall avast home free edition before i can install the avast professional. its urgent

I use the Home Free edition. Anyway, if you have the setup file and the licence number, you can try uninstalling AVAST completely from your PC even downloading the appropriate tool from their web site, then reinstall the program. Inserting your licence should convert your product into Pro if you bought it. ::)
