Title: error 10022
Post by: davef on May 03, 2004, 05:56:33 AM
I recently upgraded to the newest release and now when I boot up, I get the message "error: 10022" and I'm told that Avast can't protect sent or received mail on pop3, smtp or imap. I can no longer connect to my provider's mail servers with Outlook Express. Any suggestions? I could sure use some.

Thanks,
Dave

Error 10022 means: An invalid argument was supplied (WSAEINVAL)
I hate numbered error messages  :(

But you can see more here: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=2760

There were no changes in the mail scanner that could have impact on this.
Didn't you install any new (networking) software ?
