Title: PnkBstrB.exe malware infection heuristic method used.

I got a pop-up from avast saying it detected a malware infection, well i don't really know if it is but not sure. Would appreciate if someone knew if it was infected, and sorry for my bad English :P I'm from Sweden.

Thats the pop up, and sorry it's in Swedish, but i will try to translate.

   
A suspicious file is found (using the heuristic method). This may be a sign of malware infection. Please send the file to our virus lab for further analysis.

Filename: C: \ Windows \ system32 \ PnkBstrB.exe
Type: hidden services

And the thing is.. I'm the admin on my computer and i can't delete it or turn it off in the Task Manager "Services" it still runs after i exit a game or so.

Interesting. Do you have any game installed that is using Punk Buster anti cheat protection?

I never got problem with this files maybe another virus is infected the files of pb so i would recommand to boot scan or get mbam + sas :)

Did you send the files for analysis (on the virus alert)?
