Title: can not find hard drive
Post by: ezra_180 on March 08, 2009, 04:21:12 AM
Avast bart boots fine and loads up, however, when trying to use the anti-virus, i get a message that it can not find the hard drive. (it does not recognize C drive).  I am using a thinkpad and it does it even when i deactivate the security chip and passwords. any idea why? thanks  (ps. i am using the latest avast bart 2009 and updates vps)

Have you run drive diagnostic software to see if everything is ok with the drive?
If not, I suggest you do so.

I suppose you are using BART 2.0... please try BART 3.0 beta (http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=38684.0), it is built on a newer OS and has more drivers.
