Title: Outlook/Exchange (4.1-396)
Post by: Martyn on May 05, 2004, 11:53:42 PM
When I look at the status of the Outlook/Exchange providor I see a message "The providor is waiting for a subsystem to start" which makes me think that perhaps Outlook is not being protected.

Can anyone tell me where to go and look for the cause of this message?

Thanks.

I'm running Avast 4.1 professional - Outlook 2003 and XP Professional 5.1 SP 1.

Check Outlook About Box -> Disabled Items. Is avast on the list? If so, just remove it.
