Title: Malware's bytes Find looks bad

My malwaresbytes found just 1 regkey have something to do with a hijacker. the path was C\key\windows\expolorer and something about active desktop changes. When i deleted it it shutdown my computer. Is this a virus or a false?

There really isn't enough information to say, you would need to check the log file that it creates.

It might be possible that to remove it then it had to shutdown, though I haven't had anything like that with it. If as you say 'active' implies it would have to be stopped, but if this is just a desktop I doubt that would require a restart.

There should I would assume be an entry in the Quarantine tab.

Take care about any software detection as you could face with false positive detection.
MBAM had some false positives in registry keys some days ago.
Are you saying that when deleting the key the computer restarted? Or MBAM asked for restart?
