Title: Avast and Spybot
Post by: Cortez on May 06, 2004, 02:43:01 PM
I have the Avast Home Edition in Portuguese, and I frequently run Spybot, too. After a scan with Avast, it shows me several files (some zip files) from directories of Spybot  protected by password, then Avast cannot to scan they. Is it normal?  I can delete this files? Or they must be moved to quarentena?

It is normal.
You should keep the files as they are - they are SpyBot data files.

Please, there are other files like Manifest.MF, from Java in that list. Are they normal too ?

Yes. The Java classes are in fact ZIP files, but without checksums - so they appear to be "corrupted". You don't have to worry about them.
