Title: backdoor.irccontact.30 not found!!
Post by: Arno006 on May 06, 2004, 09:53:49 PM
Hi all,

My AVAST Home edition is up to date but it didn't detect "backdoor.irccontact.30" which was in a "svchost" process >:(.

It had no consequence because of my firewall :)

I had to use Kapersky (which found it in a few seconds) to eliminate it.

So I have a question for AVAST developpers :
Do yo plan to add it in the virus definition file?

Thanks

Arnaud

We could add the detection, but we need the file sample first. Without it, we can do hardly anything about it.
If you still have the file, you can send it to virus@avast.com. If you have already deleted it, however, we are out of luck, I am afraid.
