After trying avast 4.8 pro out for a year, with a cracked version(which is wrong I know) i have not had a single proble with it, not had a virus, trogen, I love Avast. keep up the great work. it has out stood, Nortion, Nod 32, avg. an i have XP Pro x64 bit.......

You don't need to use cracked versions to have the same protection level of avast...

Using "cracked" software is a great way to infect your systems with malware; whoever made the "crack" easily could have added any kind of malware.

Welcome to the forums, MalibuChrisK.

You can use the official Pro version of avast for at least 60 days for free. If after that time you do not want to pay for the Pro version, you can revert the Pro version to the Home version which is completely FREE. The Home version uses the exact same scanning engine and virus definitions as the Pro version. So, you do not get any less protection with the Home version. There is only a little less funtionality.

As mentioned above, using a cracked or keygen version of any program may also give you other unwanted programs or malware.

Avast Home are for Home like its say and Avast! Pro are for the guy that love and want more security when surfing on the internet ! But using a cracked,keygen can really have a virus or trojan on it i suggest you if you have a computer on Home to use Avast! Home or if you wanna try Avast! Pro for free 60 days its on the avast website.

Ok I can agree with you on the first sentence however most keygens are false positives and are detected by Avast as Trojan inintializers but most are harmless however I have run accross some that were Trojans and had to format  :-X The cracked ones are the ones to look out for and if you have to move files around then the prog is truely crack but if not then it is a virus.

I have to say if I get into a better job I'd probably pay for Avast since they seem to know and care more than any other anti-virus vender but till then hopefully I can install the free one on my x64 based OS.

I can agree with you Avast! Home is for the guy in Home that cant afford the version Pro or really need his money so i can say Avast is alway at his best to offer mush protection for your family to surf safe. So if later you got enought money then you will can buy the Pro Version which its good mush more protection and good thing on it :) Like me for now i cant afford the Pro Version but if i had money for it its sure i will buy it :)

But use a Anti Virus crack and keygen can get you many problem and virus i have many guy that his pc is destroying because of these thing so soon he buyed a new pc and guess what ? He installed Avast! Home for his family and he sayed he was never had anymore problem with his kid or him when he surfing the net :)

I can say that Avast! Home/Pro is really good for Windows. Its offer mush protection for free and paid version :) And im sure im not the only 1 that suggest this product because of his performance and scan trought the net. I see many customer and expert that suggest Avast! as a Anti Virus and i can say they are happy.

I hope ALWIL Software know that their product are mush appreciated from people because i can say ALWIL Software you rock ! Free or Paid you alway win.

you  are stilling something which  you can have for free. plus there is this very friendly and helpful forum for you to  help if ever you get in trouble. I advice you revert to the free AVAST and free yourself from the sin of stilling.

But Sadly! ... It died after just 12 months  :'(

yes ye si read all of the above, sorry for the delay, Alot of key gen set of anto virus ect, but 1/2 the time there false alarms. i had a cracked version of avast 4.8 pro. like I said I did not know about avast till a friend mentioned the name. Pretty much I could not afford to buy Pro. and i didnt want home, I wanted Pro because it was better. i was miss led thinking that the trial version would not do the best it could do unless u pay for it.

Anyhow it does not matter, because I purchased it for 2 years now.....

SUPPORT IS A+
ANY EVERYONES RESPONCES IS FAST AND ALSO HELPFUL.

Thats what i love, becides the program, a friendly forum, full of help!!!!
