AT&T recently upgraded (suposedly) their email and are now using yahoo. You have to use SSL and port 995 for pop and 465 for smtp. When I put these ports #'s into Avast settings (Redirected Ports), my email client times out. Ports 110 & 25 for my business email still work fine.
Any ideas on how to get Avast to scan emails using ports 995 & 465 ? ???

To ATT Yahoo SSL mail see: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=14854.msg238394#msg238394 and Alanrf's comments here: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=38727.msg325051#msg325051

avast cannot scan secure connections (that is the point of them being secure). Putting the ports used for secure connection into the "Redirect" list of avast causes the connections to fail.
