Title: Problem with Avast which doesn't appear...

Hello everybody! (excuse me for my bad english)  :-\

I have problem with Avast family edition. i updated my software but now, it does not appear on my task bar and a icon (red shield) tells me that i am not protected, my antivirus is inactive ...
When I want open Avast, nothing occurs... I don't know what I can do so that functions...  :'(

Can you help me please??  ::) ::)

Okay... My problem is solved... In fact, i downloaded "CCleaner" and I repaired my software... When i started again my computer, the icon Avast is returned! I recorded again my "key of recording" and it functions!

Which is your Windows? 98, Me, XP, Vista?
Do you use any other antivirus in your computer?

Can you try to repair your installation?
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove. Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair).
