In an attempt to tighten the security on my laptop running XP Pro I stubled upon the security settings required for avast! installation folders.
- What - exactly - are the security settings applied to avast! installation folders during avast! setup?
- What are the most restrictive settings possible so that restricted users still can update the virus database and the avast! program (either automatic or manual)?
I would appreciate as detailed information as possible.
