我每隔一時, 都會用面版掃病毒, 但不知何解, 今次個面版無顯示出來, 請問何事?
因為現在avast的面版無法打開, 所以不能掃瞄病毒
我的電腦內還有a-square Free, 是否它的影響另arast有這問題? 謝謝~~~

Typically this is because of having another Anti-Virus or remnants of one still on your system.
Have (or did) you another AV installed in this system, if so what was it and how did you get rid of it ?

Asquared works OK with Avast. Asquared is not an antivirus (it's an antimalware), have you ever had another antivirus installed with or before Avast?

What is your Operating System, please?
Try a repair of Avast, from the Control Panel, Add/remove programs, select "Avast", select "change/remove", wait, then select "repair", then "next".

OK another thing to try:
This may be a bit complex for on-line translation, but good luck. It isn't primarily for this problem, but it has worked in the past.
- Menu, Display Remnants, Log Viewer Remnants, Graphics glitches, etc.
- Edit the C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\avast4.ini using Notepad.
- Find the [Common] section in the avast4.ini file, add the following line to the section
- SunbeltKPFHack=2
- Save the file.
You will be prompted by the avast! Self-defence module if this is OK answer Yes.

To try and resolve your problem.
Whilst this is used to remove graphical remnants, usually as a result of how applications interact, it could also resolve something not being displayed.

i don't have any answers to help , but a problem myself, i am running windows xp pro on my new laptop, i have downloaded avast home 4.8 onto it i am getting a message saying i have upgraded some files on my OS, and that i need to install it again, has anyone encountered this ?, and if so what can i do to fix it , as installing it again hasn't seemed to help thanks for any help

This is confusing.
It would be real nice, and is forum protocol at most help forums, if new users posted their problem in a new topic, instead of tacking on a question in someone elses topic.
It would be useful if there was a forum FAQ on the forum homepage with suggested protocols.
