Post by: cbbraddy on May 25, 2009, 01:23:03 AM
OK, did a little searching, not sure what exactly it is in the log that the is giving me the problem.  Its not a big log file so I'll copy and paste it in here.

This is from a fresh install of windows, I have a 180 gigs on the hard drive. Again, fresh installof Windows XP, not even two hours old. I'm getting my programs installed and I can not install avast, never had this issue before. PLEASE let em know what I'm doing wrong, here!

I already tried deleting all the temp files. I am running with an administrator account with a working internet connection. I can not install at all, much less get to where i can update. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Still having no dice here. If anyone can take a look at the log and maybe see if there are any arguements I can give on the command line, perhaps. I'm not even sure what the exact problem is here. Fresh install of XP with loads of free space. If there are any questions to be asked, feel free, I'm checking this often as this is the antivirus of choice.

Thanks!
