Title: Protection query

Hi all

Has anything been reduced protection wise in avast free its just that since an advert was added to the on access protection status window saying increase your security and the fact that it now says avast free quite prominently I wondered whether anything had been removed/reduced

sanctuaryforever, nothing has been reduced and it is a bit of an advertising push to sell the Professional Edition which I don't mind as avast! is one of the best Free anti virus applications available.

Lost of confidence on avast... it's a pity... but it was foreseeable by the Evangelists...

Totally foreseeable, except for the ones who implemented it. Fortunately that wording has been corrected.
