Title: How do I remove the HTTP:// in a Visual Basic 2008 Webbrowser?

In order for my custom WOT add on to work, it has to goto the combobox. However, the combobox adds http:// making the site could not find. How can you disable the first seven characters not count when it goes to the site? In case you want to know the wot addon code here it is:
