Title: ASSISTANCE NEEDED -internet explorer script error
Post by: LIBOS on May 21, 2004, 02:14:07 PM
on Outlook Express, when i press "print" , in order to get any of emails (inbox, sent items etc) printed, i get the following warning on screen:

QUOTE
INTERNET EXPLORER SCRIPT ERROR
An error has occured in the script on this page
Line:1344
Char:1
Error:unspecified error
Code:0
URL:res://C:\WINDOWS\System32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

YES  NO
UNQUOTE

What ever selection i press, yes or no, the warning goes off but no printing occurs.

Any help will be appreciated

Open Internet Explorer, goto Tools, Internet Options, Advanched. Disable script debugging there and the problem is solved.

Open Internet Explorer, goto Tools, Internet Options, Advanched. Disable script debugging there and the problem is solved.

I FOLLOWED YR INSTRUCTIONS AND SAW  THAT ON ADVANCED, THE SETTING "DISABLE SCRIPT DEBUGGING" WAS SELECTED (BOX CHECKED)

I HAVE HOME. I TRIED FOR SHORT PRO AND CHANGED BACK TO HOME, BUT THE PROBLEM WITH OUTLOOK EXPRESS WAS THERE BEFORE SHIFTING FROM AVAST HOME TO PRO & BACK.

LIBOS, just our protocol: please, do not use CAPS... Thanks.
This problem can occur when you shift from the versions of avast... I hope Vlk can guide us to success  ;)
