Hi there, I am also using Vista Home Premium and using Microsoft Paint to do some minor jpg editing. But I have no problem here. Wonder what is the "won't download" problem you are facing. Mind to elaborate more ?  :)

Hi j.m.reid,

I have both Vista Home Premium and Vista Home Basic and I have had no issues with paint.

Dont know why and it appears to be a common fault .
Where did you find this?

Same here i got Vista Home Premium SP2 and no problem at all. If you guy want another paint i can say Adobe Photoshop or Gimp is not bad too.

Thank you all for help / advice , appreciated . This is one of the pages I came across looking for solution to problem . http://www.donationcoder.com/Forums/bb/index.php?action=printpage;topic=16292.0 .I have now installed Paint .net as it looks unlikely to be a simple fix . Again , many thanks , you always get good replies from Avast forum .
