If you got infected by sasser, you broke one of the most important rules when it comes to keep a system safe. You did NOT get/installed ALL security patches/updates. Follow the 5 steps on this page (http://members.home.nl/edeijl/acred/cleaning.htm) to clean your system from harmfull stuff and secure your system a lot more than it is right now.

Will N Pat,

Sasser is a moderate risk trojan that takes advantage of an email security vulnerability.

This link gives a decent amount of info, and a free removal tool.

Good luck,
Techie
