Speed checked with Speakeasy (http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/).
I'm not bragging, just surprised. :o 8)

There are only American servers. I prefer speedtest.net :D

The results are a bit weird i think. ;D Normally my download rate changes between 1-10 MB/second and the upload rate is btw 1-5 MB/second, thanks to my university network ofc. ;D At home the rates are not that high. :P
-
I also tried Speakeasy, the transfer rate for download is 104.6 KB/s and the upload transfer rate is 62.4 KB/s. This must be a joke lol, i think this is because the servers are too far away from me. :) But the speedtest.net results are also ridiculous, they change significantly at each test. I stated my actual transfer rates in the previous post (1-10 MB/s and 1-5 MB/s). IMO, the rightest results are our observations by using a download manager like Orbit (for download transfer rates) (i stated my upload transfer rate by observing Mozy). So we shouldn't trust in such tests actually. ;D
PS: MB = Megabyte, Mb = Megabit, Mbps = Mb/s, 8 bit = 1 byte. ;D

Speedtest
9.74 Mb/s - Download
0.86 Mb/s - Upload
Btw nice mevcit your University its normal lol. I would got like 100 mb/s if i would buy the best internet in download but maybe less upload or i dont know.
-
Yep, in universities the internet speed is generally 100 Mbps (like mine) or higher, which corresponds to 12.5 MB/s download transfer rate. If i move to my own house some day, i'll do the same thing with you. ;D Here it's a bit expensive though. :P
-
Mine runs the same in both tests. Not too exciting, but after having dialup until last year, it is a pleasure.

Well there a lot 100 Mbps. Some offer more better like 100 mb/s in download and 80 mb/s in upload. That would be the extreme 100 mbps. :)
