How can I Suppress the Voice Announcement after Virus Database Update - "Virus Database is Updated"! ???

Hi akachhy!

You can deactivate all sounds via the settings...
rightclick avast-symbol in the taskbar --> Settings -> Sounds --> check "Deactivate avast! Sounds"
or you go further and click on "Settings" and remove the sound in the avast!-section of the system-sounds...
(The names can be different as I translated them from German...)

Or you can just turn down your speakers!  ;D  Some like the voice and some don't.
