Good catch.

The JRE 6 Update 15 was pulled. Well, not really, it was never official. That many have installed it is their problem.
It never was official and gave installation problems for many.

I always wait for the JRE at the Java developer site and this one never was there, only update 14.

Excuse me for breaking my read-only modus. Just had to... :)

Why can't Java build in an automatic update feature into their program?

It is really annoying having to uninstall the old version every time.

I posted an update in the update thread and i have downloaded it and installed it. (no problems)
It was from there deleloper site, where i have used before. It was pointed out about it not being availble on there main site, but developers site. i deleted it.

Thought i would post what is now goin on about.
But because the whole post was not read completely, if the moderator wants to remove as been requested, i will not be upset one iota.

I do understand, and i did notice you translated as well. Even if i take offense, i don't hold it for long as the life is too short. :D
I do admire people who can speak more than one language, it must be great. ( I have trouble with one)

Are you sure yours doesn't include an automatic update provision? You should be able to enable it through the Java Control Panel.
Control Panel > Java > Update > Check for Updates Automatically
Use the Advanced button to change it to daily checks if you want.

This isn't necessary any longer. Current versions of Java replace the old installation.

I don't see it there, see image, still JRE 6 Update 14 listed. It was pulled before so perhaps it has been pulled again.

AFAIK, you should go for Java JRE 5, Update 20, having Win ME:
