hi all , i just want to ask can i use avast home edition on windows7 rtm build 7600?

Like the problem name, symptoms, etc^^

As far as i know, Avast! Home is compatible With the recent Win 7 RC^^

hi , thanks for reply. basically  i did not install the software yet but i just need to know if it is compatible with windows7 rtm build 7600 final..

and if there any one already test it with the rtm release of windows7

I'm currently using avast! on 2 systems running Windows 7 RC.
It works well and is recognized by Microsoft. :)

thanks , i will just try it on the rtm , by the way how is the detection rate comparing other security provider? , i use to use avira before but it is not compatible with 7rtm (update problems)...so i want to try something new this time..... :)

Fully compatible (if there isn't any other antivirus installed as usual).

Hi John,
This is the wrong place to ask. We are all prejudice here in favor of avast!. :)
Seriously, in my opinion it's excellent in most aspects and their web scanning is a comfort to have while surfing.
I'm a Symantec convert and avast! has kept my systems clean for more than 5 years.
