Title: how i know ..?

hello to all forum members, I have a question, is:

I have a running server with CentOS, and cpanel, (64 - bit), and installed the 4 rpm, which are in the website of avast, ye made the devil run avast, my question is how when avast detected a virus or Trojan?

Hi Oscar,

I am not sure linux have a lot of viruss/malware attacked, because mostly attacked Windows Operating System because of commercial OS.
But in term of your file system protection, you should need update and scan your file system. Because sometime virus/malware could infected through File Sharing at Server.

Oscar; in linux most of the Antivirus products, do not have an online scanner o resident task in memory, so you have to do manual scan, or check if the Antivirus support a scheduled task.
