Will the avast for linux work under Yellow Dog Linux?
-
try it
-
Just as I thought no dice.
Avast apparently sees the Mac underneath the linux.
YDL is the version of linux that Runs on Macintosh computers. I turned an old G3 450Mhz desktop mac into a YDL server for my home network and wanted avast on it.

What versions of Linux is avast tested under?
-
'big' avast works on processors compatible with Intel x86, to some extent on 64bit compatibles. No way to run on G4 or so.
