Hi guys,
I haven't been here for a while cos I been fairly busy with family business and there are times i have read this forum when I had the time.
So I just want to ask some questions, the first questions is I receive about 1 updates within a 24 hour period and with hacker creating new malware and viruses at a very fast rate would I be protected by this, as would Avast be providing at least 2 updates per day to make sure we are secured from the latest threats.
Second question is I just found out Avast home edition has built in spyware protection (I though only the pro edition has it), so how strong is it spyware protection as do I need another third party online spyware protection to back it up.
thanks

IMO, this is enough, and if needed ALWIL will sometimes release more than one a day, For example: the VPS version will be something like this: 090917-1
The '-1' indicates a second version.

Are you sure? It is on the home version.

There is an antispyware module in the home version.
Although, I would also recommend, as a free, on-demand addtition to avast!:
MalwareBytes Antimalware: www.malwarebytes.org
SUPERAntiSpyware: www.superantispyware.com
[EDIT] sorry, just re-read the post...
