I was interested because I own to computers. One being a PC and the other a Macbook.

Currently Avast for Mac is a paid application. You may use it for 60 days before registering it. It will be up to the ALWIL management if it will ever be free.

yes, we're thinking about making some lite-version, which will lack some add-ons, as free. the current one will stay paid, but will have some new features added (which will be omitted in the lite version as well).

I use avast for my Windows computer and had the trial version on my
Mac. When there is a free version for Mac? Please reply.

It's completely anormal that a product I bought yesterday can't use my entourage software et I can't find some explanation in french.

have-you plan a french version and when ???

Hallo, entourage is a paid third-party product (well, Microsoft's one), which tries to replace Mac's native Mail app with some outlookisms. At the moment, there a dedicated fancy support for the Mail only (colored messages, auto-filtering on background..), but on-access would scan Entourage's dropped files as well, just as any other file.
