don't know how long I'm still gonna run their software. This one sounds like the one that could keep me away from it forever :(

don't know if you're sarcastic about the newbie, hope you were because I have the feeling that supposed to be newbie and the following poster have planned that together. The thread was moved from another section of the forum by Melih who never moderates the forums in a general way...he posts a lot but never moderates...guess the first thread location was meant to make the topic more visible for a start, and guess who moved it ? ;D

edit: don't know why I wrote this and what I was thinking of ::), obviously no one could promise some money in the name of Comodo if it wasn't planned by Comodo themselves. The newbie's post was not just a suggestion but a real offer, and the newbie trick is cheap and dirty.

What kind of Software.... Its nothing to got about security !!! But now its look like a lotto comodo. *smell scam*
I know they did put a free internet security. But i think they should know how to handle with people. And also to handle their money.
Like Melih said is sound "Follow him and give me your money" Look really really unrespectfull.
And i hope for my heart that Avast! wont be like him !!!
I love Avast! and i want to keep it !
Because the CEO and all members of ALWIL is so nice and dont act like Comodo for who is grow at your feet to you give them some money !!!!
PS : I hope i dont offensed anyone. But i wanted to say it for a good cause. Its was really... And i also seeing a topic that Melih said for HopSurf that he is a great community !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And me who wanted to use their Internet Security. I think by this time i searched and seeing that toolbar. Oh my god. And also the attitude of Melih is really poor. Wow !!! Im so sorry but i cant really believe that.

Sounds very cheapskate/stingy/tight, assuming a lot of people went for this comodo could make a lot for a lousy $1000 :P

But asking for money it isnt really respectfull.... If i want to donate to Avast! i will ask them to where i send my money. But now its like that Melih is asking for money when its really savage to do that. I wont give him a 1 $ for what he did seriously im sorry if i offensed some 1 but its really dont got sense to ask for money. I never did seen that on any anti virus business !!!! But now Comodo seem acting like this and its really bad !!!!!

he's not asking for money, he supports the suggestion of a supposed to be "newbie" (lol) to reward the forum users if they can get Comodo new customers for CIS pro (commercial version), that's a real shame ::)

Im really confused.
I tought Comodo was a great security solution with Avast! but now i think i will take Comodo on my Red List. With his Toolbar and Attitude its wont take me !!!!!

My thoughts were: old forum members could understand and give suggestions knowing how things work.
I think newbies (it was his/her first post) could have great ideas for sure, but the Moderator reacted first and in an intrusive way.
Shouldn't the old guys be listened before?
If everything was planned before, worst scenario.

I personally won't bother posting there, it would end up with the worse flaming thread ever at Comodo forums, I know myself and I'd rather avoid that. And yeah, the answer that was provided avoids taking the nature of the offer into account. This is all a bit disgusting.

It takes awhile.
They are not really good at irony,so you can mess with them
pretty hard and they often never pick up on it.
At the moment, if you have looked,they are deep in debate about
just what your post meant.

lol gotta go through this thread again to find out who you're talking about. I remember that name Toggie though...I almost don't post in this forum anymore since it turned out, as expected, to be the perfect nest for curious commercial practices (HopeSurf, DNS bs, ThreatCast etc...). I joined there in 2006, deleted 3 or 4 accounts (myself, I was never banned) for misc reasons (just boredom sometimes), I enjoyed it in the beginning, people were behaving differently, CFP3 was on the way and that was very exciting. I guess above all I got fed up with the lies there, and the purposes, always ridiculously "hidden" behind some sort of cheap hyping about the products from the team and the tens of fanboys praising Comodo for trying to screw them ;D There's only one person that I like and respect there, Eggmen, he's quite a nice guy and a fantastic developer. Without him Comodo would be nothing.
