Hi, i am using avast! home edition 4.1... I am not sure it is free coz somebody said it's not i confused ??? Is it 100% Free with updates with everything ??

Hi Tuna, and welcome to the forums,
Yes, the home edition is (and hopefully always will be) absolutely free, for home non-profit use. You'll need to register, of course, (again free) to have access to definitions updates, but that's quick and simple.
The Pro version does have some extra features, and the revenue from that (and other commercial versions) is essentially what keeps Alwil going, but the home version is excellent just as it is, and is often upgraded in response to user feedback right here in these forums.

Yes, avast!4 home is totally free with free registration! ;D
Also, if nothing changes, a year later you will be able to re-register again for free! :D
It's doesn't get much better than this! :D

Yep as the others said avast! Home is 100% free. avast! Pro is like $39.95 for 1 year and you get a few extra features such as script blocking. :)
