One would think this would be a simple procedure, but it sure isn't. When I hit the upgrade button on the software itself it merely tells me that my key has expired (about 7 days ago) and tells me I need to upgrade.
I then go to the avast web site where there is some kind of link to upgrading. I fill out all the data all over again (which makes no sense to me as the company should already have that). It states I will get something from Avast but I never do.
What is going on?

I'm afraid I did all that. I watched the tutorial video. Then did EXACTLY what is said, ie: filled out the form yesterday and then finished the procedure. It then took me back to the exact same screen that I had just filled out. What am I supposed to do? Fill it out again? I have filled it out three times now and nothing happens.
I have been an avast user now for over two years but have never experienced anything like this before.
