Title: License key help

Hello,
My computer that I had Avast Home on crashed this past summer. My Father-in-law was nice enough to give me his computer which he also has Avast Home installed on. Now my question. I am receiving the red pop-ups now as this license is set to expire on November 1st. How do I renew the license? Can I renew the license key with my e-mail that I signed up with on my old computer? Thank you.

Go to the SSL page version and register from there: https://secure.avast.com/scripts/register.php?lang=ENG.  The Registration key is valid for 14 months.

Yes, you could use your old email address for that.

Thanks for your help. I used my old email and received a new license key and then entered it in my computer and now I'm good till January 2011.
