Title: Win32:Trogen-gen.{other}
Post by: country on June 17, 2003, 08:43:38 PM
   I've got this in my C:\System Volumn Information\_restore. I moved it into the virus chest because it won't let me delete it or fix it.
   I had the same thing the other day but it was in 3 of  my Windows System32 files. I also had to move them to the virus chest because I couldn't do anything with them.
   How do I get this out of my computer.

I have the exact same thing in my PC too. And it just prevented my CD-ROM drive from detecting the disc inside not long ago. What solutions are there? Someone please help!!

This file is in the Windows System Recovery folder. The easiest thing was to disable the Systemrecovery restart and enable it again. Here is a way how to do it:

I've already done that. But haven't enabled it again yet. I can't detect anymore of the virus even after performing 2 virus scans after disabling the system restore. What should I do now? Is the problem solved already?

Yes the folder( and so the Viruses) was delted by Windows, so you can enable the Systemrestore again.
