Title: ??Changes required within Outlook Express ?
Post by: snowflake on October 31, 2009, 02:29:43 PM
I have Avast 4 Home installed on a Windows 98SE computer which , up to now has been connecting and behaving correctly.

However, on my Supanet account ( to which talkgas migrated some while ago )  I am now unable to log in via my Outlook Express .I can still log in manually to the server

What settings in my Outlook Express should I now use to  retrieve mail from the Supanet server

I set up my OE as originally instructed with Incoming Mail as POP 127.0.0.1 as is the Outgoing Mail

This worked until very recently when, I guess some changes have been made to the Avast program that necessitate our changing OE settings to enable a log in to the Supanet  account  ?

Of interest, all my other accounts  IN OE are still working as they should be
