Title: Script Blocking Heelps Shutting Down?
Post by: popeye123 on November 05, 2009, 01:30:01 PM
I have been noticing that scanner has 6 out of 8 running. Script blocking gets grayed out. I try to restart and get error operation could not be done. I have to do a repair and restart computer and it comes back on. But it keeps shutting down.
I do not know if related, but the avast icon losses its graphics. When I repair it that comes back as well.
I am using WIndows 7.

Adviceppreciated, it is a pain to have to doa repair all the time, thanks!

Hi
Did you have any other antivirus on your computer previous to Avast. Nortons and Macafees are notorious for leaving bits and pieces behind. Try Asw Clear Avast removal tool. Reboot & Re download the full Avast free program from avast web site. Have you scanned your computer for malware with MBAM antispyware free & Spybot Search & Destroy?
