Title: Win32.killreg.d
Post by: papillon on June 15, 2004, 07:52:00 PM
Hi All,
I have avast! Home Edition. I installed A2 anti trojan program (emmisoft) today which picked up this win32.killreg.d when a!HE hadn't. I ran the Trend Micro Housecall av scan which picked it up. Should avast have picked this up please??
BTW, had a look on Google but couldn't find out much about it, is it dangerous??
Thanks,
papillon

Hi,
please look here for killreg-variants:
VGREP (http://www.virusbtn.com/resources/vgrep/vgrep.cgi?terms=killreg.&product=0)

avast detects some variants as
BV:Malware [Gen]   or Win32:Trojan-gen

if you still have the file, please send it in a password-protected ZIP- or RAR-archive to virus@avast.com
Inlcude problem description and ZIP-password in the mailtext

Otherwise, alwil team can't do much about it because the need the file to include it in virus database/signatures

 ;)

Hi whocares,
Unforunately the beast has been deleted, but thanks for getting back to me.
