Title: Win2PDF 2.4
Post by: ChangeMeister on June 15, 2004, 10:37:03 PM
I just switched from NAV 2003 to avast! 4 home, when my license expired.  After installing and scanning, avast is reporting the following:

6/13/2004 10:43:40 AM   ENTERPRISE\Joel Ingram   3016   Sign of "Win32:Trojan-gen. {VC}" has been found in "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\W32X86\2\WIN2PDFM.EXE" file.

Since this was never reported by NAV and I have used the program for years, I am skeptical.  Where can I get more information on this virus?  Also, I ran it through http://www.kaspersky.com/remoteviruschk, which found nothing.  Any ideas?

On another topic, my Dell 4300 keyboard becomes unresponsive during boot scans, making it impossible to get past any virus notifications.  Has anyone seen this before?

Sorry, it was a false alarm. It should be fixed now.
