Title: How do i report a virus found by...
Post by: SirL on June 19, 2004, 05:09:31 PM
F-Secure online scanner to the avast team. F-secure calls it: Trojan.Win32.Delf.bg. I know that you can send files from the chest but how do I get the file to the chest if avast dont recognise the virus?

Hi,

imho you can also manually move files to the chest (see avast's manual/help)

or pack the file into a password-protected ZIP- or RAR-archive,
and send it in to virus@avast.com
-> include ZIP-password & description (e.g. name given other scanner) in the mailtext

I found out how to send the file to Avast. Just zip the file with a password and send it to virus@avast.com and don't forget to write down in the mail what the password is.
