I Apologize, I have been away for a few days.
1. I am not Sure It looks like Avast the error message come during the start up of the Avast boot time scan.
      I start Avast on my ek top choose the level of scan and where to scan.
 then click Shedule a boot time scan. It then asks if I want to restart now, I click yes and then windows shuts down, the laptop shuts down and restarts.
The Think Pad intro screen appears briefly then Windows XP sp3 starts runs for a few seconds then the Avast scanner starts. The little progress dots begin to appear maybe about 8 or 9 of them then this message error appears:
             NTWAITFORMULTIPLEOBJECTS Error (192) {status_user_ACP}
                  Key Board error

The program then says no files scanned continuing to windows.
Thats It.
Thank You
Jbaneyj
