avast! Pro Antivirus
Renewal for another 3 years is US$109.95
New Subscription for 3 years is US$82.46
Is there any reason why purchasing a new subscription is even cheaper than renewing? ??? :'(
Thanks..

Any ALWIL staff to help check? Thanks.

One of the many reasons I switched from Norton AV to Avast Free. I paid $20 for boxed Norton AV2009. When the renewal came up, they wanted $40. Since Norton AV2010 had a conflict with Outlook, I was not interested in renewal, especially at twice the price of a boxed version. Terrible marketing, IMO. Renewals should be discounted, not charged at a premium. Not the way for Avast nor Norton to win subscribers.

Hi, this is a glitch that has to be solved - thanks for noticing us.
To MichaelDay:
It is a common "process" for low-priced retail products - if you buy a cheap product in retail the vendor probably would charge you twice more at a renewal time.

Is it ( -25% ) discount for new users ?
The price was 109.95$
new price = 109.95*(75/100) = 82.46$

Hmm..., I don't think it a discount for a new user but for buying a package for 3 years license.
